Overview

Antoni Gaudí, an internationally renowned architect, is considered by many to be the figurehead of Catalan modernism. During this visit you will discover some of his most important works (the Sagrada Familia, the Casa Milà, the Casa Batlló and the Güell Palace) but also works by Lluís Domènec i Montaner, supposed theoretician of Catalan modernism and architect, among others, the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Hospital de Sant Pau (creations inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List); buildings by Josep Puig i Cadafalch, another important representative of this architectural movement, as well as other works by more minor architects.
Along the way you will learn everything you need to know about Catalan modernism, its origins and specificities; the important elements of the biographies of these three architects, and of course, the genesis and the relevant information to know about their creations that you will see on this route.
