Overview

In this private tour our guide will take you to the best roads around the city, including some solitaire roads and demanding climbs. You will have a full carbon bike equipped with Shimano 105 groupset, compact crank 34-50, 11 speed.

This is a nice cycling stage and also including the best views over the city!

We will adapt the distance and difficulty to your needs. From 60 to 85 km including 3-4 climbs. Also we adapt the pace so you can feel comfortable with it!

Great start to Barcelona vacation

Great bike ride and orientation to the city and it’s environment. Claudio was super accommodating for me and my husband (who is not into cycling as much as I am). Great climbs and conversations. Highly recommend!!!

I was a few days for congress in Barcelona, but also wanted to do some exploring with a racing cycle around the hills. Claudio is the man to arrange it! He was quick with responding to my e-mails. His schedule was quite full, but luckily at the last moment I could make an arrangement for a rental bike and tour under his guidance. He picked me up at the hotel at the exact time and we drove to the outer suburbs of Barca to setup the rental bike (excellent Giant TCR) and off we went for an easy start along the river to 4 longer climbs up the hills. Claudio adapts to your abilities and keeps a perfect pace! It was a great experience as I'm mostly cycle around the flatter parts of the Netherlands. As a warming down last part we went a long the Barca beach back to the parking spot while Claudio told me interesting stories about the city.

Absolutely recommended and I'll definitely book again when I'm in the vicinity!

March 2022. Today I rode with Claudio on the Hill Around Barcelona. it was a great experience and I would highly recommend riding with him.
First, Claudio's communication before and during the tour was great. His English is excellent.
Second, he was ontime and provided a few things I either didn't want to bring (helmet) or forgot to bring (sunglasses).
Next, Claudio was very good about customizing my ride b/c we had emailed previous to my trip about what I was looking for. In the end, we did precisely 50km with 2300+ feet of elevation in around 2.5 hrs.
Claudio is personable and we had good conversations about culture, children and business.
Thank you Claudio for your service today. I hope some of my friends will come to Barcelona and ride with you!

A Fantastic Bike Touring Outfit in Barcelona!

We've done bike tours with other outfits and can truly say Claudio stands with the best! Booking was a simple process and communications prior to the date of the ride were prompt and clear. He picked us up on the day of the ride at precisely the previously communicated time, and his bikes/gear were all ready to go. He supplied well-tuned, high-performance road bikes and had multiple frame sizes available. They were a joy to ride.

Our group (myself and adult sons) had riders of different fitness levels, and he led the ride with that in mind. He is able to adapt the course to meet the conditions of the day. His knowledge of the roads was excellent and he provided plenty of advance notice of tricky spots and safety issues.

We enjoyed talking with him over lunch about Catalonia, cycling history, Barcelona, travel, and other topics. He was a pleasure to be with and simply a really nice guy! I would highly recommend his tour to anyone wishing to do a great hills ride around Barcelona and see the fantastic vistas along the way!
