Carolina (Caroline) was fantastic. She made sure we were always pointed in the right direction (not that simple) and seemed to genuinely love her job. This tour is highly recommended.

We paid for a 7 day tour starting in Barcelona ending in Madrid. The bus, the local guides, the hotels all very good. The planning and communication of Julia Travel was poor at best. Day 1. Arrive in Barcelona. Driver picked us up. Nice hotel. Tour sch for 8 am Sat. We had to go to the tour office. Print out in hand no one knew where it was. That was Fri night. Sat. Morning new front desk guy said. It was across town. At least 20 min. Breakfast inc. at hotel. Except breakfast starts at 730. Tour at 8. No time. Pay for a cab. The darn office is a tiny little place at the bus station. Tour was real good. Tried to confirm at office if our ride would be there Sunday morning to take us to the train station. She couldn't confirm. Gave us a 24 hr number that no one answered until 6 a.m. on Sun. That was the first 24 hours. Lots of similar incidents during the week. Time to leave Madrid after a week. Driver never showed. Another 30 in cab fare.
